How Do I Break The Yoke Of Bondage In My Life?

When I think of Bondage, I think of someone who is in prison. In prison, people are sent there because they have broken a law, in the country; be it murder, theft, drugs, something done at the hands of someone else, or something else. If someone is Set-free in Prison, it is because his or her sentence has been lifted, and they have been loosed to go and live their life a free person now. What a wonderful feeling that is! In fact the feeling of freedom is undescribable!

Jesus Christ has done that exact same thing for you and I! He was the Only Son of God, who came down to be born in true, human form , to die a cruel, horrible death on the cross;to set us free from Hell, and the grave! The Bible says that Jesus came to "set the captive free!"

When I was a child, my mom was addicted to the nicotine in the cigarettes. I despised the smell of those cigarettes, and she and dad smoked incessantly. I saw The Lord Break that Yoke of Bondage in her life. She decided one day, to get before Almighty God  on the floor of her bathroom, and and she told The Lord" I am not getting up from here until you deliver me from these cigarettes! Almighty God heard her prayer that day!She quit, and there was a domino effect in my family, dad quit, my aunt quit, mom and dad's neighbors quit smoking; all because she obeyed the Holy Spirit and allowed Him to come in and fulfill her heart and life.

What does the Bible say when we are bound by something that has overtaken our lives? "God has not given you the Spirit of Fear  ,   or  bondage, but of Doctrine, of Love and of a SOUND MIND." Whatever it is that is locking you up and making you held captive on the inside of yourself, that thought, that feeling, that thing that GRABS hold of you and won't let you go; get before Jesus Christ on the floor, or wherever you can get a place to pray in quiet; but get on your FACE BEFORE HIM, and allow Him to remove whatever it is that is keeping you from being Free and let The Holy Spirit show you what GREAT and MIGHTY THINGS will be done because you yielded to Him. "Pride goes before destruction; and a haughty Spirit before a fall."

Stand back and see The Salvation of The Lord in your life! Remember, you are loved, and will be Blessed more than you can ever know! God is there to cradle you in His arms, and lift you out of whatever it is that has you bound. "And I shall give to you the KEYS to the Kingdom of Heaven; that whatsoever shall be BOUND on earth shall be  BOUND in Heaven, and whatsoever shall be LOOSED on earth shall be LOOSED in Heaven!" Mark 16:19
